PowerDive@SFGAM - CoasterBuzz

I was wondering when are they going to tear it out? I heard it would be gone before opening day. Did they decide to leave it sit another year?

According to http://sfgamunoffical.tripod.com they said it will be coming down this year. I talked to someone recently who said it was still there last time they looked, has anybody been by the park lately to see if there is any sign of it coming down before the season starts.

if they take out everything between power dive and cajiun cliffanger, that would be a perfect spot for a compact B&M flyer. That would add a lot to New Orleans place.

I seriously doubt that there is enough room for even a small B+M Flyer there. You never know though. I am still guessing in the next few years there will be a real ferris wheel at the park.

Power Dive is probably the first Great America attraction that I will not shed a tear for. I love 360º rides, but there is just something about those harnesses....ow! I prefer a Ranger, or the boat at Carowinds (if it's still there). There must be a curse on that area of the park...Skyride, Cliffhanger, Tidal Wave, Edge, Power Dive, etc.

Arrow Guy....the boat that you are referring to at Carowinds is called The Frenzoid. Carowinds is my home park and I could stay on that ride all day long!!
