possiblity of adding new flat rides to RCT2

i'm not sure if anyone has thought of this yet or not but for the recreations of the park i think a few flat rides may be added to RCT2. take SFMM for example and what rides are actually in the park:

1. a skycoaster 2. a 1st gen. Freefall 3. observation tower and all the other kiddie and flats in the park.

i know most of the rides will be other rides used to represent rides in the actuall park but how many scramblers can you use in one park to represent a spinning flat ride.

just a thought though. what does everyone else think?

I am sure many flats will be added. The game is still missing many flats, a tilt a whirl, tea cups, swinging chairs. And not really flats, but it also needs a skycoaster, different type of observation tower, water park rides, ect. There are many things that need to be added, but they will not all be added. But most will, if you look at the screenshots that have been realeased, Chris Sawyer has added a lot to the theming options of the game. You can make signs and sheds, and there are even stairs on the pathways.

They added the Enterprise in Loopy Lanscapes, which of course is at Alton Towers , and they had a recreation of that in it, so hopefully you are right.

Accoriding to RCT, Alton Towers also has Tea Cups, and Sawyer just put in a scrambler for those. I'm sure we'll get some new flats, but not many.

Will it go up this year? Doubtful...

I will like to see classic flat rides, pay attractions (sky coaster, sling shot,), and more Huss & Zamperela rides but if we don't get that i'll be happy with what we get.
They need the Himalaya!!!!!!!!
I think it would be cool if they added a bunch of older Schwarzkopf rides. Monsters, Calypsos, Bayern Kurve's, etc...

If you read the interview with Chris Sawyer a few weeks ago, you would know that its a lot harder for him to do flat rides than it is to do coasters. Here is exactly what he said:

Putting in a completely new ride design from scratch could take a couple of months work, but because rides like roller coasters all work in a similar way, code can be re-used, track models can be based on existing track models, and many other shortcuts can be taken to speed up production. 'Flat' rides (rides which don't have a player-designed 'track') can actually take even longer to produce.
