Wait for more screenshots before we judge atari could be teasing us in the beginning than in a week or 2 bring in the good screenshots. But the odds of that is 20% the other 70% is for a scenery pack.
Where'd the other 10% go? And the periods and other punctuation?

I can relate with you one the eye incident. I was at a baseball tourney in Kansas City, and a few friends and I went to Red Lobster. I grabbed a tooth pick and we headed to K-Mart. A part of the toothpick broke off and found it's way into my eye. I had to miss going to Worlds of Fun :(

It wouldnt be hard at all for them to make minor changes to the engine. Look at Zoo Tycoon. There are user created add-ons that only work with the Marine Mania update. That means patches were made to the original program. No problem.

1eyedjack: no offense there in your post but for some reason you got my username mispelled there.
No offense taken buddy. As you can see from the time stamp, it was after 12:30AM. 6AM comes quite early. Add to the fact that a cold bottle of Budweiser was keeping the wind pipes chilled and lubercated.... I think you can see my point.... :) I liked Batwing when I was out there last year. Something about flying over a field was more fun than looking at a street and a parkinglot whule riding F-Flight.

Remember my face, I'll dig your grave...
1. Money. It's cheaper to spit out easy to make scenery than it is to go into production all over again and reform code to put in new attractions. And also production = spending money.
2. I know tons of people that actually use the giant jellybeans and tennis rackets and crap. Why does it bug me? Because I'm an enthusiast. I know that the majority that play that game will eat another scenery expansion up. Why is that? Because it has the word "expansion" on it. It makes you feel as if you're missing something or that your version is obsolete.
Time Twister will sell wether enthusiasts are crying or not. If it bugs you that much, you can head on over to Atari's website and email their development department. I did. And do you know what they replied with? "Development of the games we produce are judged by a majority of user opinion. So far we have seen more of an emphasis on scenery. Until we have reason to believe that the public wants otherwise, we will continue to produce what we feel the audience wants." So there you have it audience. You're not doing your part.
