Both are OK, but I much prefer positive G's... you're more likely to catch me on the Beast or SOB or FOF than the Racer (at PKI).

I'm not much for airtime hills, but I like big drops. Go figure that out. I'm weird.

And based on what I've read, I suspect I'm in the vast MINORITY with that opinion, and you're all going to think I'm completely insane. Most people I've seen post online are all airtime junkies, and I'm not. But that's cool either way. :)

Negs, although a decent helix is a good moment, too.

Before last year I would have said positive G's.

Last year I was able to ride:

Shivering Timbers @ MichAdv
Excalibur @ FunTown in Saco, ME
BoulderDash @ Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT
Superman: Ride of Steel @ SFDL, SFAmer and SFNE.

I'm now a proponent of negative G's and even leaning more to wood than steel, and out-and-backs over inversions.

If you haven't been on Shivering Timbers or a similar CCI woodie, do yourself a favor and get to Michigan's Adventure on Saturday and Sunday, June 9th and 10th. (3 hours of ERT on Sat. evening)

You might look at AIRTIME from an out of seat perspective.

I personally am an airwhore. Going fast and flipping over are all well and good, but I would rather fly along in a padded ply-wood box with nothing but a bar to hang onto(ala Big Dipper at SFWoA).

I love any coaster that has a nice combination of both. The only time I can say that I don't really like negative Gs is over bunny hop hills when you think the lap bars are going to break your legs... As in a particular orangey-red 11 year old coaster on Lake Erie...

Airtime feels much more "out-of-control" than posi-Gs. I love it!!!

A roller coaster would be sorta boring if it didn't have both...so I choose both. I like them both, it is too hard to pick the better because both are great.

My pick is negative Gs, but I'll take 'em any way I can get 'em. (Gs that it)

How about this: ALL G'S! Positive, negative, and lateral! Just not too many lateral G's

V2, Deja Vu... how can it be better? Add Viper! Oh, wait. It's already there!

for me, a good coaster has twisted negative g-s. i mean it doesnt just go straight up and down, it slants a little to the side and then it dashes to another side going down the hill. all of this at high speeds with not too big of hills( to maintain the high speed through the whole hill). ghostrider is a perfect example with a great helix at the end.
