10,000 yes. True. Valleyfair's waterpark sucks. Bigtime. No expansion for something insane like 15 years. It might not have gotten updated since 1976 when it opened! (Excluding the family raft ride)

Not quite true. It looks like the waterpark made additions in 1983, '85, '88, and '93.

ValleyFair's waterpark is quite small. I think that will be the next area they will expand - hopefully by 2009. With Renegade this year, I'm expecting 2008 to only have small additions. When I suggested a few months ago that VF's waterpark would be the next logical place for improvements, one of my fellow enthusiasts here disagreed. They felt MN had enough waterparks. I get sick of hearing about VF's water park. We live close enough to the Dells and there are several other water parks around. VF could not compete with them if they wanted to. They focus on the rides just like they should.
