Port Arthur Comet (a lost Schmeck ride)

Paul Drabek's website features a number of defunct wood coasters for people with the No Limits program. One of them- the Port Arthur Comet- is particularly intriguing. The coaster is featured somewhere on this page.

Does anyone know anything about this ride? I'm not sure how accurate this rendition is, but considering that Paul's recreations are pretty accurate most of the time, I'm guessing it's darn close. It looks like a great ride, combining the twists and turns of Schmeck's reckless Wildcats and the airtime-laden double out-and-back layout of many of his post-WWII creations. True to Schmeck form, it also has tunnels- one at the beginning and one at the end.

Since the coaster was destroyed (by a hurricane, no less) in 1958, I'm sure no one on this site rode the coaster and can comment on the ride experience. But does anyone know anything else about this ride or have a link to some pictures? It looks like one of those rides that would be perfect for any number of mid-sized amusement parks!
