Pony Express @ Knott's Berry Farm

I haven't heard much about this, so I'd throw it out there. But is anyone excited about this ride? If it weren't for a friend of mine that lives near the park, I'd have never heard of this new coaster. Only link I could find was a press release on rcdb.

It was discussed on the News Page when the ride was announced. I think it's a cool addition. After Jaguar in 1995 they only added adult coasters. With Sierra Sidewinder this year and Pony Express next year there will be a lot more for families to enjoy...a good move considering Six Flag's claim to be courting families. *** Edited 11/23/2007 6:40:33 AM UTC by Mamoosh***

It looks pretty cool to me. :) Too bad it won't be open for Solace according to rcdb. :(

Sorry about the repost. I did a search and this subject didn't come up.

This does seem like it will be a fun ride. I saw where the station will be, I believe. It will be near where the panning for gold station is. There's a small building with food right near the rapids ride and the octopus ride. It is said to be going in there.

Go to http://www.zamperla.it/english/primaeng.asp. When you get to the page, go on the left side of the page, and find products. Choose News in the middle of the page, and than choose Motocoaster. This ride is going to be like that. You can see a Video on the very right of the page. Click that, and you can download it, or it will just open for you.

I've seen mock ups of the layout, but I'd really like to know how it will be situated in the park. I presume it will launch towards the west gate and then head back. Anyone know any more?

I think this is an interesting concept and hope it fairs well as it is supposedly going to be cloned at several other parks in the chain if it lives up to expectations

I cannot get the link to work. It gives me an error message in italian when I try the products link.
