POLL-Coaster Alley Convergence plans

Mamoosh's avatar
Hello everyone!

I'm working with the Pac NW ACE reps to see if we can get some ERT planned on Enchanted Village's new woodie, Timberhawk, for Sunday, August 24th [the day after CAC @ Silverwood]. Ideally the ERT would be after park closing.

If you are planning on attending CAC and your plans allow for you to attend an ERT event at Enchanted Village please reply. I'm trying to get a fix on the number of attendees.

Thanks!

Moosh

Would you just LOOK at what you've done to CoasterBuzz - you're going to have to clean it up ;)

Moosh, regardless of attending CAC, you can count on the Robster for major ERT on Sunday! I will be getting lots of "ERT" prior to you, though...;) A good months worth, I might add! :):)

'Gator - its outta my hands right now. The new ACE Rep and his assistant are working on establishing a relationship with EV and I've told them I'll help in any capacity I can.

Rob - I'm glad you'll be warming up that woodie for us ;)

'Moosh, if the rep is *on the case*, that';s good enough for me....if you "helped", the coaster would probably end in the same predicament as Legend's bell....;)

bill, happy that our Solace attendees are back where they can be adequately teased....:)

I haven't purchased my plane tickets yet, but would definitely be interested in SFEV Sunday ERT if it were offered. I'd schedule my flight home accordingly :)

Works for me, as you could probably guess, I'm sure.

CAC was one of the best events last year (but I know the people you are with count just as much as the event as well and Bass, Flare, Jim and Mike are a fun crew to travel with!).

Now I'm reconsidering heading back out again this year since getting 3 hrs on Tremors is just heavenly. Plus we started teaching the ride ops how to handle ERT "Holiday World" style - they were extremely friendly, just had to warm em up a bit.

Have Fun!

George

Why is it described as an alley? Are the coasters in a straight line, or something?

Anastasia - I have not been to the park [CAC 2003 will be my first visit] but I believe all three coasters are on the same pathway in the park, hence the name of the event.

Just the woodies are over there. Knott's old corkscrew is in another section of the park.

Anastasia: Silverwood has a sign up on one of their pathways stating "You are now entering Coaster Alley". This pathway leads to the stations for both woodies, and you pass in between the two of them to get there. It's really cool to be surrounded by CCI!

Moosh: You haven't been to Silverwood yet?? BWA-HA-HA-HA! Even <Chris> has been there!

It was just a cute little name they gave for the area. The pathway does wind between both CCIs, though, and the view is spectacular as well as thrilling, because you get the rumble on both sides.

Don't you want some ERT, Moosh?
Getting the "rumble" on *both* sides huh? Sounds like a new motto for the Peanut Gallery :)

Perhaps for some members, but this CPGer gets his rumble on one side only ;)

Moosh - not exactly sure what that meant but it sounded funny....

Jeremy, thanks for paying attention...;) Moosh knows EXACTLY what I am talking about.

I will probably be there for the ERT on Timberhawk, but not sure about CAC yet. Like Rob,I will probably have contributed to getting Timberhawk getting broken in before the ERT session.

Don't forget about the FREE ERT on the PNE Coaster April 17! See the topic "PNE Coaster Event Confirmed "for more info.

Stereophonic wood....sounds good....;)

You coaster-deprived folks in the PNW ought to have a *great* time breaking in that new woodie for us...the April 17 day sounds like a BLAST. Oh, and make sure there's some salmon left come August...there won't be in September, that's for sure...;)

Bill, rest assured, my wife and I will provide hearty helpings of fish, noodles, and soup. You can count on your Japper family! ;)

Although the PNE special is enticing, it looks like I will pass. Getting up at 3AM to ride at 6AM isn't my idea of fun, no matter what it is, sadly. I am a wuss, and the drive makes me crazy as it is. Ron will do the Coaster for us all, though ..... guaranteed!
