BrettV submitted this as news, about how BGW has more police calls than KD:

I didn't post it as news, because there's no context here. It's very possible that KD is conservative about calling the police, deferring to security, and that BGW is the opposite. I mean, only 2 drunk guy calls in a year at KD? Really?

Notice further down where they show the stats for 2019... It's interesting that the results are kinda flip-flopped in a bunch of categories two years ago.
But then again, what do I know?
KD attendance is dismal. Hardly ever crowded so it makes sense there would be less disruptive behavior. Even this year with packed parks, KD was empty.
KD was also closed through the pandemic while BGW operated as soon as they could and became a year round park during the same period.
I agree with super 7. I'd like to see KD attendance numbers compared to BGW. We visited BGW in the Spring when it opened back to full capacity and we didn't ride anything at all. It was too crowded to enjoy. We would have spent a day at KD then, but they still weren't open at the time. They didn't open until after memorial day.

KD also has had very limited hours. All summer long they closed at 7 every day of the week. During weekdays in August they were open 12-5 (wtf). Even during Haunt they are open at 2 every day.
Meanwhile BGW had regular hours during the season. (Maybe they shouldn't since their staffing sucks...)

That’s another great point. The cut hours which chase away most traveling customers.
