Okay, this may be a stupid question, but how do they have lights on the train (the eyes of Gatekeeper)? Are these battery powered and charged overnight or something? Just curious if anyone knows.
Great coverage, Jeff. You really make the ride look like a lot of fun!

Sounds like it was a really fun event, especially with MF and Raptor opening for a bit.
If kings island has an event like this next year for whatever their making, I'll go. When do I have to order my 2014 coasterbuzz club membership?
I love that picture of Gatekeeper's enterance plaza. It looks a million times better than what it used to look like in that area.
Collin Aynes
Collin is correct. As a coaster enthusiast, I don't want to see a cheesey building with an appeared enclosed water slide coming out of it. What I want to see is a sweet looking sign with an eagle on it. Also, I want to see benches. That's what there is now.
Holy Crap. Gatekeeper Plinko might be the greatest thing ever invented.
According to Walt, top prize is FOL passes.
Don't let the guy from New Hampshire see the plinko game. He will likely lose his recently recovered $2600 in life savings trying to win the $50 FL passes.
I briefly saw a pic inside the photo booth...It has since been taken down on the live update...
1) Was that 3d Pictures I saw listed to buy?
2) Where do they have the cameras located on the ride for both sides?
Yes, there's a 3D (lenticular) option.
Not sure about locations. Didn't think to check.
