I don't know why, but I like the name. Voyage rocks in every possible way including the name.

Have to disagree with you about the name. It's not catchy enough, somehow. Then again, it could be called Dog Crap USA: The Ride (DCUSATR), and I'd probably love it. ;)

It seems a lot of names are not popular at first and people have to grow into them. Wasn't that the case with MF and TTD? I don't know why I like Voyage, but I do. I think it fits very well and will sound great once people get used to it.

Looks like we've already got a turkey to go with the new themed area. Hmm, looks a little overdone.

Voyage sure beats the name of that coaster going up in Jacko's Neverland Ranch -- Boy Age.

But, seriously now, troll or not, I think it's ridiculous to get caught up over a coaster's name. Once the coaster is up and running it can be called Rosemary or Sandy (Interpol reference) and it will feel like the coolest coaster name ever if the ride delivers.

I can't be the only one that initially wasn't wowed by names like Millenium Force or Top-Thrill Dragster only to let the ride experience blur my initial displeasure. The same goes for coasters that sounded cool like Swamp Thing or Mean Streak that just didn't roll off the tongue as well as it used to once experienced.

The Voyage will work. It's Thanksgiving! Plymouth Rock? Mayflower? Pocahontas? Who cares, really.

Only a true troll would start a thread about a coasters name not being catchy enough. I think the name is great, and will only help define the ride down the road. If this coaster rocks as much as we know it will, this name will just add to it's attractiveness through the years. It was the tone & ego in your replies that got you the abuse your getting now.

I like "The Voyage". It's very fitting based on what I have seen of the coaster. It sounds more like "floaty" air, like sailing in a pirate ship over some moderately intense waves. :-P

At least the coaster wasn't named Turkey or Ham. ;-P

Funny.
