I can just see the SF people sitting around the boardroom: one says: "Let's see. What will we call the new combined Ohio property?" and another responds, "Well, the biggest in Florida are Walt Disney WORLD and Islands of ADVENTURE. . ."

whats wrong with calling it sfo it is the only six flags in ohio so i will continue to call it that

Sorry, I'll stick with "Six Flags Geauga Lake." At least that way anybody who knows anything about the place will know what I'm talking about. At the rate they're going, they'll come around to that name eventually, anyway.

Been Geauga Lake (and g e a u g a is the right spelling) for 100years. I'm keeping it in my mind as the park name.

I think it's a combination of hating the new name and unwillingness to type S F W o A which is a major pain. People who do this will likely do it for a while.
