I checked their web site, but they don't have 2003 dates/hours up yet, and they don't have the 2002 ones archived, so I have no clue, if someone could enlighten me I'd be eternally grateful :-)

If I was going by myself I'd definitely make a point of doing the event, but I'm heading out with a friend and the point of the trip is only 50% coasters at most, so having a more free-form (and earlier in the year, since we're both relocating in August for university) schedule is better.
When is CAC this year? Keith and I are *definitely* doing a trip out to the great northwest this summer (late July/early Aug is target date) and would LOVE to do this event. I just hope it's not at the month as I think that would be too late.

The PNE/Playland usually operates on roughly the following schedule.
Weekends only:11:00 AM to 7:00PM, April through June
Daily:11:00AM to 9:00PM, July to August
PNE Fair:11:00AM to 1:00 AM?,last week in August to first week in September
The park goes back to weekends only operations and hours after the fair is over for the remainder of the season, usually ending the first week in October.For more information on the PNE, go to www.pne.bc.ca.

Update: the PNE/Playland will be open weekends only starting April 18,2003. The PNE fair will run from August 16th to September 1st.
