Planning trip to SFMM in April 2003

Hi all. This will be our first trip to the west coast for a family reunion, and the wife and I will be making a mecca trip from Merced, CA to SFMM to check it out at long last.

We would love to hear from anyone who has advice on good hotels in the area to stay at. Any other info/advice would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks much in advance!

Mick

It will be very crowded if you go on a weekend, especially during spring break. I went last year on a saturday, not during spring break. X was 6 hours long, riddlers revenge 2 hours.
The Hilton Garden Inn is the best, it's accross the street, not too much and has a great all you can eat breakfast as a great way to start your day, and save you money for lunch. Plus parking wont be a problem and you can get to the entrance gate as early as you want, which needs to be early. Let's see if Scream might open by then first before I give you some VERY helpful tips. The best way to go is as long as your there before park open, you'll ensure yourself a fine day if the rides you like are open ( good possibility)

See THE ULTIMATE in Orlando TR'S! Right now in the TR fourm!

I will also be going in April. It is my spring break but it is in a very different week than everyone's else is (April 18- April 28) so I hope it won't be two crowded. Also I am going on Mon-Fri to SFMM and KBF so I will have plenty of time to do all the rides. Hopefully Scream will be open by then.
Lots of Spring Breaks are different. Heck, mine isn't during spring. I think it's the last two weeks in March.

2)Deja Vu's (times 3)
3)Batman Knight Flight's
