Anyone remember several years ago when they bragged about "25 new rides" and maybe about 3-4 actually opened/worked properly?? Same old Six Flags........which is a shame when they could be so much greater if they tried properly......

That was the year that the seaside amusement piers came right into Great Adventure and made offers that none of the foreign employees especially hired for this expansion could refuse. Great Adventure had already hired everyone from the area, and seaside was hurting BAD. So, they stole all the foreign employees, and Great Adventure's war on lines fell apart before their eyes. By the time they could have gotten additional visas for foreign employees most of the summer would have already been gone, so they did what they could.
