planning a trip to Kennywood (questions)

As my name and trademark would suggest i love the old arrow coasters. However, the reason mainly for that is the Phantom, although it has been tweaked by morgan. I never did ride it as Steel Phantom, but i guess many would say then I was lucky. It still is one of my absolute favorite steel coasters out there. The reprofiled second drop was fixed after they changed it back in 08 or so.

As far as rides go, another one everyone seemed to miss was the kangaroo. I love that thing, but it sports a decent line most times i go there. Other rides worth mentioning are the whip of course, noah's ark, the turtles, Ghostwood Estates, and my favorite the Aero 360.

As far as food goes, I had a bad experience with patch fries. I wasn't feeling all to great the first time i went there and ate the bacon cheese fries. Turned my stomach a few times, never have tried them since so the experience could be different. I usually eat at the old carrousel refreshment stand in the middle of the park. They have quite a few options and it was reasonably priced even though drinks aren't included in the meals. You still save like 3-4 dollars over other chains.

I pretty sure the Swing Around was on top of the stage where the dive show is now for many many seasons.

That ride scared the bejeebers out of me when I rode it years ago--not for my own personal safety, but for that of my daughter, who was two at the time and over the 36" minimum height requirement. Insane.
