What type of transportation will you be using this summer, I just bought a new mini van since my wife hate's to fly, we will be traveling around 6,000 miles this summer how about you.

Army rangers lead the way
I'll be racking up a lotta miles on my Celica GT to all the parks I got planned...
Let all of us ground travellers hope that gas will not climb as high as last year, if not higher...
Otherwise we'll all be biking & scooting it to the parks!
Being that we just bought a pop-up camper, we'll be hitting the road quite often this summer.

Thank you for riding America's Roller Coast

I pledge defiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republicans, whom I can't stand, one nation, under smog, indespicable, with liberty for just us, not all.
Why isn't Car on the list? Oh...Automoble! J/K I'll be riding in my Mom's Car, as she drives me to PKD! YAY!

Peobody, you forgot by boat! But, that's not a choice.
As for me, I'll be going to parks by car.

V2, Deja Vu... how can it be better? Add Viper! Oh, wait. It's already there!
Car for the most part. My trusty '99 Civic EX is gonna see the miles rack up again this summer, even more than last year...

Speaking of Honda Civics, we have two trusties ourselves:), an '89 (she's rollin' over 200,000! Besides having to add water, it'll get to Myrtle Beach AND back guaranteed) and a '90 with over 150,000 that's much more reliable, that's really our coaster transport.
Though this Spring, or should I say in a few weeks, we'll be getting a rental because we're getting married and will need some space, it's going to be sad, first trip not in a bug or a Civic:(.........
The Jaguar will be limited to day trips SFA, PKD, BGW, Hershey, and SFGAdv (Jada is good condition but being an '85, she's a little long in the tooth; plus she *drinks* gas).
Most of my out of state trips (Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio) will take place via plane and rental.

jeremy
For the most part we travel by car. We may take one longer trip this year that will require flying.

"I'm going off the rails on a crazy train." - Ozzie Osbourne
If you use a travel agent's "fare watcher" e-mail alerts, you can find some great fares. I don't like to drive anywhere more than four hours, and even that's a struggle. So what we like to do is fly to the nearest city, or a city in the middle of it all, and rent a car.
The best trip we've had yet was flying from Cleveland into BWI, between Baltimore and Washington. From there we drove to SFA, BGW and PKD. No one leg of the trip was more than two hours. It worked out really well.

I'll be taking my 97 Ford Escort all over this summer. It's already been to Kennywood and back over a dozen times this year (about 90 miles round trip) and also to SFA (310 miles round trip). My parents are on me about putting so many miles on the car, so I hope to get my own car by June, when traveling is really going to pick up (CP, Hershey, Knoebel's, Dorney, etc).

All three... Taking a plane to Madison, WI for the wedding. The train to CP and Kennywood for the Honeymoon, a plane again to Florida, and the train back accross to CA. Stopping at no less that 12 amusement parks.

It's still not tall enough!!!!!
If it's in the continental U.S., we drive. Heck, if it's in North America, then we'll drive. If you get a few people to go on a trip, then transportation expenses are relatively low. We also always drive straight through taking turns, so time isn't a huge problem. Flying would be nice, but it's WAY too expensive for college folks. BTW, I think our longest drive yet was from Urbana, IL, to Orlando, FL - about 17 hours, but we'll break that going to California (~30 hours). :)
If I could, a plane, but that can eb expensive. If I was a year older, I would drive, but a lot more than now, stuid permit. Bottom line, cars.
