pki's other movie in action fx theatre

hey, just wanted to let you guys know that the other movie featured in the action fx theatre at pki is called "secret's of the lost tomb." it's an indiana jones esque film. sounds pretty cool.

I hope it's better than Sponge Bob, which most people (including me) are saying is only slightly better than James Bond or Days of Thunder.

Have you seen the new Sponge Bob yet? I saw it at Carowinds and I think its pretty good. However it isn't slightly better than Days of Thunder(DOT) because DOT was the best ride ever in that building. What other movie did the seats flip back so fast that you can fling your legs up over your head and get stuck sorta upside down until the ride stopped and someone else got you down. (Little exagerated there, but you got "flipped" pretty hard and it was great)

Sponge Bob is going to be a huge hit with everyone. Paramount made a great choice by putting this movie in every park. Plus the merchandising that will come with it are going to pay off for ..... "future development"....

I agree that Sponge Bob is a good move, as Paramount loves to cater to the kids. I just wish they could've kept the more "adult" 7th Portal also, as I only saw it once. I hear it was a licensing problem with Stan Lee. Sponge Bob had its moments, but I think the pre-show spoiled most of the movie for those who weren't really familiar with the undersea creature. I felt I knew everything about Sponge Bob and his friends, whereas with 7th Portal, I had no clue as to what was to happen.

I really didn't like 7th Portal in the least. I had never heard of the characters before and had no clue what was going on in the movie...I can imagine it was the same way for the average guest.

With Spongebob, you have instant recognition with most park guests and I would imagine a storyline that all ages will "get" and be able to enjoy. Sounds like a well-thought out move by Paramount.

The characters in 7th Portal are based on a web comic called 7th Portal, it talks about that in the pre-ride movie.
