PKICentral.com has added over a dozen images taken by our aerial photographer of Paramount's Kings Island. This includes Nickelodeon Universe construction, Great Wolf Lodge construction, general off-season rehab and more.

Is it just me? Or does PKICentral look strikingly similar to CB?

I'm going to go ahead and write that off as general arrogance since with the exception of the backdrop, which both sites have used for years, the sites look NOTHING alike.
But yes, there is a lot of work done with Nick Universe. The area will be nothing like how you remember it. In addition to the rethemeing, PKI is adding three new rides, all of which are manufactured by Zamperla. These include a Kite Flyer, a Jumping Star, and a customized Skater with a camel hump.
It may not exactly be the cup of tea for people on here, but the kids will love it!

I took his comments as a "The site I post on is so much better than their site that they copy off of the site I post on." kind of deal. Sorry if I misinterpreted the post, but that's how I read it.
Anyway, my GOD Son of Beast is a beautiful coaster. Absolutely incredible looking.
Until you get on it, that is. ;)
Also, just to clear up any confusion before it ever happens, if you look at the SOB photos, you'll see what kind of looks like a tunnel or something, but it's actually just a tarp over the track. They did the same thing last year and it started a widespread rumor when our photos went up which was of course proven not to be true.

I never rode it that is why im asking.
To answer your other questions, there are a couple of boneyards where the King Cobra is stored. All of the track (to my knowledge) is stored outdoors, exposed to the elements. Some of the boneyards can be found behind the Racer and Son of Beast. The trains are actually stored inside Flight of Fears main bowl, so that's the only part that may be considered actually 'in a warehouse'.
If you want to see this stuff, then I recommend attending Beastbuzz at PKI which is going to be on June 17th of 06. I've been to the past two of these and Beastbuzz never fails as a good time. In fact, I'm willing to say that the 2004 Beastbuzz was the best time I've ever had up there and I go... a lot... lol. I'm sure more details of the event will be released as it draws closer.
