PKICentral.com adds 115 new PKI photos

PKICentral.com adds 115 brand new photos of Paramount's Kings Island. The images show a lot of detail in the park you might miss if you don't look closely.

Way too much sharpening in general applied to ALL of those photos. But they are nice...

Heh - that some serious use of the "unsharp tool" in Photoshop ;)

I actually soften my pics.

Yeah, your pics have what I call the "Gonchar Glow." ;) Not sure if I like it, but I can tell you do something to them.

My own secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices.

All the pics are run through the "process" - a nice little photoshop action that I previously felt worked well with film scans, but have been tweaking ever since for digital pics. It's always *close* to what I'm after, but never exactly on.

Can I patent the "Gonchar Glow"?

I dunno... I think it would be best applied to porn.

That's exactly what I started experiementing on. The same process I use for my coaster pics looks downright fantastic on nude photos. Gives great color, skin tone and skin quality.

The thing is there's not as much detail in those types of photos. With coaster/park photos, it seems to look a lot better on tight close-ups where there is less fine details (leaves, cross support structures on woodies, small facial details). The wider the shot, the less I like the effect applied.

Heck, maybe I went the wrong way with this. Nude pics would probably be just as fun to take. Let me know if you ever create "Nudebuzz" :)

I use a automatic program to edit the pics. Some turn out great and some look alittle funky. Than after I get some free time I'll go back and redo some manually.
