PKI Trip

I'm planning to go to PKI next Friday and Saturday, I've been a lot but never on a Fri. and Sat. in mid-July. So I was wondering how bad the crowds and lines will be. Plus that weekend is also Spirit Song(christian bands concerts at the Timberwolf) so I was also wondering if that will effect crowds even more.

Expect there to be a lot of people. The concert will only bring more people, probally not to many more but it will bring in some. I was there 2 saturdays ago and it was crowed but cleared out nicely around 10. I got 2 rides on the beast in 20 minutes. Im goin on saturday and I know other than july 4th and 5th this is the only time its open til 12. The last few hours should be nice with lots of rides. Try to avoid the waterpark from about 1 to 6:30. Other times like right when it opens and before it closes are nice with lots of walk ons. Expect hour or more waits in the day on Face/Off, FOF, SOB, Beast, TR:TR, D-Zone. PKI is very easy to hit in a day though. A few tips, pick either to go directly to TR:TR and beast or Action zone when the park opens. If you pick Action zone go D-zone, Face/Off, SOB, Top Gun. Also, dont forget the beast at night, there is nothing like it. I might see you there if your around for last ride on beast.
Think bring a friend free day last sunday, thats what the crowds are gonna be like

Part of a Flight Attendant's arrival announcement: "We'd like to thank you folks for flying with us today. And, the next time you get the insane urge to go blasting through the skies in a pressurized metal tube, we hope you'll think of us."

Why would the crowds be as big as bring a friend free day. Because of the concert?
Man, last Sunday was TERRIBLE. I just left...man, it was SICK.
Thanks you all, I just hope it isn't horrible I really want to ride SOB, Beast, Top Gun, and Vortex quite a bit. Beast_rocks I hope to see ya there

Oh ya, one more thing, for the best ride on SOB, if you don't already know this sit in the middle of the cars between the wheels for a smoother more enjoyable ride. I doubt anything will be as bad as last sunday.
No i didn't know that . I've never ridden SOB and I've heard if your tall( I'm 6'0 ) its really uncomfortable, is that true?

Ya its true, When you get up to the 6 ft range you have to cross your legs to fit and you could end up with bruses on you knees no matter where you sit. If you go much taller than say 6'2 your taken a chance if you get in line of even riding.

Another question, I'm going to the concerts on Fri and Sat and its the first time I've been to a concert at PKI so I was wondering how they worked. Like is it reserved seating or first-come first-serve? Also do the concerts go on through the day or start at night like around 8 or so? And say if you don't like a band can you leave and go ride some and come back later?

All I know about the concerts is that goldpass owners get a certain section of good seats set off just for them.

i'm 6 ft. and i don't find it very uncomfortable if i cross my legs.

seek first to understand
then to be understood

My dads 6 ft too and finds it uncomfortable because your stuck that way the whole ride. Your feet don't have any moving room really.
I'm 6'0 I don't have to cross my legs or anything, but I just kinda sit down. I don't think it will be horrible like last Sunday, but it won't be easy.

Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?
