PKI to auction off first Tomb Raider ride

Paramount's Kings Island has announced its auction for the first ride on Tomb Raider: The Ride on opening day, April 5, at 9:15 AM. The highest bidders will receive free admission along with the first ride. Winners will be arranged in order of the highest bid, to the lowest bid with the best seat going to the highest bidder. All benefits from the auction will go to the Adventures For Wish Kids fund.

This is a good deal right now there is a bunch of seats left at only $25 opening bid that includeds admission to park, I posted this in the forums and got a few feedback.

You relize that on april 3rd and april 4th will be open to ticket winners and season pass holders so a lot of people will have riden it.

The post said TR:TR doesn't open till April 5, so the people there on the 3rd or 4th will more than likely not get to ride it. Also, if they did, then the winning bidders would not get the first ride and therefore can probably sue over false advertising.

Wow, that looks cool, but 52 dollars is a little steep for me!! haha

Autcioned rides happen all the time and rarely do they actually offer the true first ride. If you read the release from PKI, it doesn't mention anything about the first true ride, but rather the first ride on April 5th which is true. This is not false advertising. Those riders on the 3rd and 4th won't be the first true riders either.

As far as the first true ride, I am pretty sure that already took place.
