pki strategy anyone?

i am going to pki on thursday w/ my church group and coastering buddy nick and was wondering if there is any strategies. i want short lines, so should i go to face/off first and avoid the capacity? i want to ride all the coasters i havent ridden first(vortex, ol fof, sob, f/o). how is sob coming along now? problems fixed? will i get to most likely ride? whats the way the gp flows? sorry for all the q's, but i havent been here since i was 6 so i forget everything. thanks in advance

2 months ago, when I went to PKI, both SOB and King Kobra were running only 1 train. I'm pretty sure both problems have been fixed. Face/Off has a helluva line any time, as the track layout only allows one train. still well worth the wait IMO. the Vortex has long since been perfected from an efficency standpoint. lines should move fast if they exist at all. OL:FOF... Great ride, bring advil. it's hard to tell how long the line will be until you get in it, but it's usually worth the wait, both the ride and that atmospheric line. Beast's lines have boosted from Jr's press, usually about 30-60 minutes. racer is walk-on as always. Kobra and Top Gun, I dunno.
whats the deal w/ sob? anyone have an update(how long it is open per day)?

it is now open all day
When I go to Kings Island I almost always start with Face/Off and work my way around. Everything is pretty much in a circle so if you want to go around quickly I would go in the following order:
Face/Off
Drop Zone (if you want to)
Top Gun
Son Of Beast
King Cobra
Adventure Express
Racer
Outer Limits
Vortex
Beast

Once you finish you should be able to go back to the rides and do them again if you want to. If you really want to ride Son Of Beast then I recommend getting there early (the parking lot opens and gate open at 9:00. You can get in position to head for SOB's line then if you want but I'm not sure if it will be open then. The last time I went it didn't open until 1:00 and then it only had one train running. The earlier you get there the shorter the lines will be to begin with. Have fun.
