PKI Season Pass - Check that Credit Card Bill

If you have purchased a PKI 2003 season pass using a credit card, run, don't walk to check that statement.

In my case my card was charged FOUR times, thats right $84.99x4 for an individual gold pass. I like the park but $340 is kinda rediculous. :)

(Note: the park did reverse three of the four charges, about a week later, so be sure to take a look at your own statement to see where things stand)

It may have only happened to me, but I thought I would put it out aat least as an adivsory to take a look.

Hey it is actually a very easy thing to happen... I used to go to work with my mom when I was about 14 during the summer. She would have me ring up charge cards in the machine and I accidently rang up one guys card 2 or 3 times (I cant remember exactly now). So I dont think is a conspiracy agianst you Dave...but who knows?!

Well, it could be worse...

I heard something on the radio today about 6 Continents Hotels (Holiday Inn etc.) doing their credit card billings and dropping all the decimal points, meaning a sudden price increase of 100x (i.e. a $120.00 bill is suddenly $12,000)...

Just had my mom check her statement. She treated herself to a pass (1st time) Her statement included a double charge, but was credited back to her account 5 days later. Weird.
