I`ve ridden Son of Beast 67 times!
I knew the one to the right was the brake bridge, and now that i look at it the one to the left does look like the side track area, i guess im not use to looking at it from that angle, and plus considering the pic is over 20 yrs. could have come in to play a little bit.

Yeah, its just the brake run.-----------------
If the shoe fits, find another one.
The brake run is on the far side of the lift, so that isnt it, but i did find out its the side track.

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?
Regardless, its the storage/maintenance shed for the trains. I don`t know when the park removed the water under it. Shaggy, do you know? I know that there are still clues that it existed like the concrete slabs under the station and the wood water chute just outside the station.

Oh my...The first thing I moticed was the Bat. Wow. that ride looks so tight. I wish it were around today. Anyways, I saw a Beast train in shed once before. I thought it was a part of the track because it looked like there was some other track leading up to the shed.

The water was removed when the on-ride photo was added.
It was drained, the exit was re-routed, a queue building removed and the photo booth added in it's place.
The "orange" roofed building to the left of the Beast's lift hill in that picture is indeed the sidetrack storage area for Beast. It has existed since day one and still remains today. Each night the Beast crew removes trains and stores them in the side track area. The trains are inspected by a maintenance person on staff just after they have been taken off track.
