PKI Question

I was looking at this pic and there is an orange tunnel like structure located by the Beast lift hill on the left side of the lift, anyone know what this is?

The tunnel like thing to the right is actually the break run before the station. The tunnel thing to the left of the lift hills is actually the storage/maintenance track for The Beast.

Yeah, its just the brake run.

If the shoe fits, find another one.

I knew the one to the right was the brake bridge, and now that i look at it the one to the left does look like the side track area, i guess im not use to looking at it from that angle, and plus considering the pic is over 20 yrs. could have come in to play a little bit.

The brake run is on the far side of the lift, so that isnt it, but i did find out its the side track.

Heck forget the beast I am more interested in The Bat first picture I have ever saw of it. Very Cool, crazy helices.

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

Its the old shed for trains. The Beast used to have water under it and the trains weren't stored in the shed where they are now. Thats my main guess! I dunno but I am also interested more in The Bat
For those of you who are more interested in the Bat this site here has some Pics, and info on the Bat as well as The Screamin' Deamon, Beast, and some other odds and ends.

Regardless, its the storage/maintenance shed for the trains. I don`t know when the park removed the water under it. Shaggy, do you know? I know that there are still clues that it existed like the concrete slabs under the station and the wood water chute just outside the station.

Oh my...The first thing I moticed was the Bat. Wow. that ride looks so tight. I wish it were around today. Anyways, I saw a Beast train in shed once before. I thought it was a part of the track because it looked like there was some other track leading up to the shed.

The water was removed when the on-ride photo was added.

It was drained, the exit was re-routed, a queue building removed and the photo booth added in it's place.

The "orange" roofed building to the left of the Beast's lift hill in that picture is indeed the sidetrack storage area for Beast. It has existed since day one and still remains today. Each night the Beast crew removes trains and stores them in the side track area. The trains are inspected by a maintenance person on staff just after they have been taken off track.

Shaggy

Thanks FOF, Those are the best Bat pic's I have seen!

Chuck, who rode The Bat several times but thinks FOF and BBW are better but not longer rides.
