Beast_rocks, I also went on those days in November last year, and it's the most crowded I've ever seen it. Even Adventure Express was backed up into the midway.
Come to think of it, I went this year on a Friday, and after getting walk-on rides on the Beast, Vortex and FoF, the AE line was 15 minutes. What's up wit that?

He let the contents of the bottle do the thinking; can't shake the devil's hand and say you're only kidding.
We just got back last night and we were at PKI on Sunday and Monday..Except for Tombraider and Drop Zone, every ride was either a walk-on or a 10 minute wait.
I took numerous rides on The Beast (FRONT CAR-5 MIN WAIT) and SOB- (FRONT CAR 10 MIN WAIT)...maybe we just went on off days.
On Thursday, on attendance was down a bit because of threating weather. The forecast was for showers and thunderstorms all day. That keeps PKI's attendance down when there is a threat for bad weather.
Yes, Thursday was nearly a walkon for everything. FoF's line was just in the station at times.

I suggest you to attend this Saturday and Sunday then re-post your thoughts as to whether or not PKI attendance is down.
I bet your concern will subside.

Shaggy, having been to sveral of the past Goldpass ERT sessions on Saturday`s, by the time noon rolled around I left the park, and they were close to having to use the overflow lot, (DeepSouth) and there was still a line of cars waiting to get in. Today the crowds were light, a typical summer day. This Sunday will be extremly crowded because of Goldpass bring a friend free day. Also, next week will be busy with the fourth of July and Nights of Fire (when the park will remain open until midnight.)
When will the ACE brick be returning to International Street? It still has not been put back in front of the glass window next to where they took it out a few weeks ago.

The weather has been really bad this year. Although I haven't been there every day, I have already been there for 3 days when PKI closed early due to weather compared to 1 day all of last year.
Weekdays are ALWAYS slow compared to Saturdays and Sundays. On weekdays, Vortex (where I work this year) is a walk on 60% of the time, but it still gives just as many rides on Tuesday from 11am - 9pm as it does on Saturdays (10am - 11am and 9pm - 10 pm are really slow on weekdays).
Keep in mind that last year, PKI was one of the only major parks to gain attendance due to its great kids additions. This year, the park greatly increased its capacity as TR:TR gives about 3 times as many rides as King Cobra did. Slingshot also is brand new, and its que is always full. I think that the new brakes on Beast increased its capacity (the trains stop closer to the station, allowing for less time between trains in the station). And SOB seems to run faster, with not as much speed lost in the mid course brakes, so that probably gets higher capacity this year too, as last year there were a lot of times when they waited a while with no train in the station. These all add up to a park that gives a lot more rides than it did last year, accounting for less waiting time.

We went by the park a little after noon today and it was packed! Once we got home, I called since we were planning on going after getting different clothes on from church and they were evidently over capacity!! She said most likely we may not be able to get in. I wonder if Bring-A-Friend day had anything to do with it... Whatever happened, I really don't see them "losing" business and surely nothing that would do much damage anyways. I hope they see that a high capacity, trusty B&M coaster could help out a lot*. ;)
*Don't tell me that I don't know what they need or whatever. It's just me playing around.

We went yestereday and drove by the first time. Went and did a few other things and came back around 6. It was rediculous and the lines were not as bad as I would've thought by looking at the parking lot. Tomb Raider was inside the gate, Beast was inside the gate (sure all the ques were open, but I would've expected lines to be out of most gates). Drop Zone was really long, but actually I think I've seen it as long before. Face/Off was inside the gate. There was a big fight in The Beast line and security didn't want to go through the line to get them, so they just waited until they got off of the ride, or pretty close to riding anyway, I'm not sure.
I was just really suprised by the lines, just not as bad as I had expected.
