the park is pretty good with a great atmosphere. i want to keep this brief, so i will just review the rides from my point of view.
ratings- 1-10
BEAST-5- i still think this ride is a little over hyped. the second lift to the brake run is what makes this ride. 2 rides very back seats. 5 and 25 minute waits.
VORTEX-8- my favorite coaster in the whole park. this ride is sooo awesome. the double corkscrews are really neat because you go through them at 30 mph it seems like. good job. 1 ride very backseat. walk on
OUTER LIMITS-6.5- a good coaster w/ great theming and launch. the rest of the ride was pretty boring before the break run. 1 ride backseat 10 minute wait
FACE/OFF-7- i dig this ride, parks should try and squeeze them in somewhere. 2 rides, somewhere in the middle. 35 and 40 minute waits
SON OF BEAST-2- let me go on record to outright chant loudly at the top of my lungs:OVERRATED! OVERRATED! OVERRATED! this was one of the most boring rides ever created. i thought werner stengel(sp?) was a modern day coaster genius....well the son failed miserably. not only did some parts hurt, the ride's layout was the most pathetic design EVER created. the loop didnt pull any forces and it felt like you were going straight. when this ride fell over in the winter, they should have kept it there and burned it to the ground. if you visited pki earlier in the season and didnt ride it, dont feel bad at all, the only thing you are missing is one ride out of your track record. i ride, 2nd to last backseat. 15 minute wait.
TOP GUN-4.5- still my favorite suspended, too short but fun.
