PKI is was great!

I'm going to write my trip report on PKI here because I have noticed that no one really goes to the trip report forums.

I went to the park just this Saturday (30).This park has such a beautiful entrance. I'm sorry to say but it has a much better entrance than SFGAm.

At first when I entered the Action Zone I didn't like too much. The themeing was kinda dumb. I didn't like the themeing either in the Coney Mall but when I reached the section of Vortex everything changed. Wow, it was so beautiful! The park was really nice. I can see why this park gets so much attention. This is how I rated the coasters: (1 being the worst, 5 being the best).

Face/Off: 3/5 It was okay but it was really slow.

Top Gun: 4/5 Great ride but it sucked that it was so short.

Son of Beast: 5/5 What a great ride! One thing I regret is sitting in the back! Man, I think I'm going to have bruises! The front was a lot more enjoyable!

Racer: 5/5 (backwards) Great ride and great airtime!

Flight of Fear: 5/5 It was really cool but rough. I could only imagine the pain when it had the other type of restraints.

Vortex: 5/5 One of Arrow's best multiloopers (better than Shockwave). The corkscrews were so cool!

The Beast: 3/5 I didn't like it in my opinion. It had great themeing and all but it didn't do anything for me. It's not a bad ride but in my opinion it's not that good either.

King Cobra: 4/5 Very cool coaster, I loved the hills on it!

yeah Beast is my favorite of all time. first ride of the day sucks and no one will like it because its pretty slow. but if you ride it near the closing time i guarantee you it will be on your top 10.

How can you rate King Cobra higher than Flight of Fear? FoF used to be the roughest coaster at the park but now it is one of the smoothest! You even rated King Cobra higher than the Beast. IMO, I`d rather ride The Beast than King Cobra anyday. But that is just my opinion. I`m glad you liked the park, but this should really go in the trip reports forum!

Flight of Fear is 10,000 times better with the new cars and new restraints!! I was unaware they were making these changes and so I was so plesantly surprised on my recent trip to PKI!

I was also surprised by both Face/Off and Drop Zone, both of which were better than I thought they would be (I had never rode them before) but they are not worth more than a 15 minute wait in my opinion.

I was disappointed to see that they completely took out the covered walkway that had the ivy all over it. That was always a nice place to sit down for a bit and enjoy some blue icecream! It seems to have fallen victim to the Nickelodean Zone. Oh well.
