I have to laugh at SFMM calling itself "The Extreme Park" with the flat ride package they have. Unless, of course, you consider a Tilt-o-Whirl, Round-Up, Rotor, Yo-Yo, Swing Ship, & Bayern Curve "xtreme." LOL!

I don't know Moosh, a lot of the old Tilt-A-Whirls are still pretty extreme in my book, especially after lunch......YIKES!

I dont know if they did something to adventure express, but it seemed to be running a lot smoother this weekend.

Yeah they did something. All brand new wheels and and bearings on the trains. I saw them before they took them out to the ride.

I guess I should chime in with my opinion as well -- I drove over nine hours to ride Delirium on Thursday and I must say, it was worth it! Even with no other rides open (besides Scooby Doo) it was completely worth that drive. I was expecting a lot from Delirium and it didn't fail to deliver. I took nine spins on it and enjoyed each and every one. The ride *does* seem a tiny bit short with the more rides you get on it, but it's a minor quibble. I really think they did an awesome job with this attraction (and Scooby as well -- my goodness, what capacity!) and can't wait to see what's in store next year.

Eagerly awaiting my visit the day before SRM!

Joe, who can be seen alongside Keith McVeen and Julie Santiago at the on-ride photo kiosk for Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle! ;)

Now Joe, Julie's not going to like you broadcasting that. She already has her fair share of stalkers. I'm sure she doesnt want them to know where to find her likeness. ;)

The flat rides installed are a good choice. The park has been neglected in that department for years. Countless rides were removed with no replacement or replacement by some ridiculous up charge attraction which should be in the parking lot (ie. like cedar point, you shouldn't have to pay admission and then pay for upcharge attractions).

However, at Kings Island, the park doesn't actually grow. Just about every new ride lately means removal of an existing one. Scooby Doo is a good family ride, but it is not a new ride as much as a remodel of an old one (same type of cars, different show).

Kings Island has enough coasters. It lacks in flat rides, family rides (not kiddie rides, non-nausea, Disney-type rides everyone can ride together like Scooby Doo and the train) and now, unfortunately, clear-cut theming. If these 3 areas could be expanded upon, the magic of the park would be there like in opening days.

Its good to see an ohio park add an original thrill ride. There are a lot of good rides (especially Huss) that don't exist in Ohio yet. Adding one of these rides gives that park an original attraction the others don't have.

jeremy....you KNOW how much I loved the old sig. But when I heard about the Iraqi *misinformation* minister's fan site, I gotta say I was impressed. The truly funniest people don't even know they're funny....and he's *one of them*...thanks!

Now as for PKI hanging Joe's face next to the ride.......;)

Jeremy,

Don't worry man, we've got Julie's back! She'll most likely be on a trip with one or both of us so watch out stalkers! ;)

And gator, you know they wanted to sell lots of on-ride photos don't ya! Of course they're going to put our faces up there. :-p
