PKI Haunted Houses

Thinking of going to Kings Island next weekend. Wondering what it is like this time of year. What are the Haunted Houses and mazes like? Also, are all the other rides open? Are there any special shows?
Fearfest is fun...but most of the newer attractions suck beyond suck-e-ness if you go stick to the older attractions and watch out for zombies and clowns in the park.

When at Kings Island Ride The Beast.
Psycho Path & Sleepy Hollow Horror were pretty good, not great...just good. Dracula's Haunted Castle was very lame. If you're looking to be scared, or are hoping to see Drac himself, skip this ride, (Drac only appears for about 2 seconds the whole film).

Friday the 13th in the Paramount Theatre wasn't too bad. The live actors were horrible, and annoying, (you really hoped Jason would just do them in, esp. the girl). The movie clips themselves were a riot. They were set up into 5 different categories, such as "Never investigate alone", "Don't let Jason catch you making out", ect. Each of these subjects were backed up by footage of Jason's 100+ murders. The lame factor here was that the whole purpose for this production was to promote the release of the "Friday The 13th" box set.

Other than that, we spent time riding Drop Zone, Beast, Flight Of Fear, ect. The lines for most of the haunted attraction were too long for us to wait through.

The Psycho Trail was a blast last year, especially the dude with the chainsaw! LOL!

Does anyone know if they will have these haunted attractions open closing weekend? The website says otherwise but the park has changed it's mind in the past.

I know last year they extended the Halloween attractions to closing weekend, which was the first weekend in November.

My favorite haunted house had to be the Maze of Madness. It is a real maze....and instead of everything being completely black, the walls are see-through and white with strobe lights throughout the whole thing. The thing is very long as well, definitely check it out.
