PKI Gold Pass benefits: Very beneficial

http://www.pki.com/shop/shopping_season_pass.cfm

From June 6 - August 8, a limited number of tickets to the "Italian Job Speed Lane" will be given to Gold passholders each day. There's also a sneak preview WEEKEND April 2/3 plus 2 passholder-only Friday nights. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Paramount really wants a high visits per season passholder ratio, and they're doing a pretty good job at enticing me.

Are they doing weekend pass as well? I always get Gold Pass anyway. Another one is Boomerang Bay preview weekend in May.
You know I find it funny that no one really talks about PKI "giving away the gate."

I'm one who ALWAYS gets a Gold Pass at the end of each season (since it's basically free, gets you a free ticket at the end of the year, AND gets you free parking.) So many other people do that also. Then on top of that, you get ALL these great benefeits, special days, more free tickets, etc. And even the public buys one day and gets another free.

It really does amaze me on why PKI needs to do this. I can't remember the last time I've been there when the park was dead (with the exception of when it was 20 degrees last year.) People flock to PKI even in the rain.

It seems like a no brainer with the Gold Pass.

CP has thankfully perked up their Joe Cool program. Not that any of these parks needed to though.

The only park that I thought might have needed to was SFWoA to make people get SF passes. They had awesome deals with theirs...and thats when CP came out with Joe Cool, and PKI Gold. And now SF is gone.

PCW did many of the same things last year. The goal is not to just increase thier gate, but get you spending once you're there. Food and merchandise discounts are huge in my opinion. I know for a fact that with my 25% ofF food in-park last year at PCW, I ate more there than any other year I've had a pass. It's a win for them to get more money out of me.
Happened to click on the 'Unlimited Visits' tab on the left. It talks and shows how you can visit the park up to 130 times this year and that this can 'only be found at Paramount's Carowinds'. Hmm, guess if I am interested in visiting PKI I am out of luck.... :-)

I really miss those "Thrillseeker Thursdays" that had two years ago....ERT on Drop Zone/Delirium. The park would be DEAD!

Speaking of the park being dead, April is the BEST time to visit. The first couple of weekends are PERFECT!

That's just the thing, I don't think PKI *needs* to do this either....but year after year, they continue to impress with their enthusiast-friendly policies. Thanks PKI! :)

They had that last year, and they have listed early ride times for this year as well.
