Last weekend I went to King's Island, and on Saturday I went to ride the "major" rides. I got in line for the vortex and it broke down, from what I could hear, the tire(s) melted on a car train and then they went to test another train and it got stuck going up the first hill. I got out of line, and came back later. The vortex broke down again! That time I didnt even wait to hear what the problem was, because every time I have ever gotten in line for the votex, something goes wrong and it shuts down.
But on the bright side of PKI, the line for the SoB is really only about an 1 1/2 hour wait once you get up to where the entrance to the line really is. There will be a sign that says "the wait will be approximatly 1 1/2 hours from this point". Their not lying when they say that.
Wow. Vortex usually doesnt break down! I love goin there knowin i can rise the vortex. Oh well, all coasters break down sometimes.
