PKI Flyers Love Thread - Need help with Tribute Book

Ok. Let's bring this back to the positive reflections on Kings Island's Flying Eagles.

As a gesture to the ride, park, and its staff - I'm putting together a tribute book to present to the park Sunday evening.

I need some help and pictures.

My first visit to the park was 1999. The flyers haven't changed much since then. I have plenty of pictures of them in current form.

- I need pictures of the Flyers prior to 1999. Pictures in their old location would be a plus.

- I need pictures of YOU clearly riding the ride for a visitors section of the book.

- I need YOUR memories of the ride.

The book will be available for all to sign well-wishes on Sunday evening, starting about 5:00pm.

AGAIN, this is NOT a protest book, a petition, or any other negative concept. It's to show the park we love the ride, will miss the ride, and appreciate the time we've had together. Please keep the negative comments to yourself - both in this topic and at the Sunday farewell.

Please E-mail anything you'd like included to coasterpics@anything80s.com

Make sure your full name is included, so I can properly credit all.

Thanks
Chris Clark

I hold a season pass to "Garfield's Adventure"

Chris, Im not sure if you have any of me on them but feel free to use them.

I know there are a couple of pictures of myself riding someplace but I honestly don't remember the exact site(s) I saw them on. Perhaps on one of the PKI sites?

Dave Althoff? Didn't you have one as well?

What a great gesture, Chris! I am sure the park will appreciate it. Unfortunately I don't have any older pics to share.

I assume you didn't intend this to be a surprise to the park since they obviously read this site....hee hee. Still, I think it's an awesome thing you are doing.

I do like the "Anything 80's" site though, if you need any help with that let me know. ;-)

This is a great idea. The KI staff loves this ride too, and I think this is a nice "thank you". Sorry I don't have pics for you......I've only taken a few over the last 5 years. You can bet I'll be making up for that Sunday! I think KI's have one of the most attractive schemes, and I hope they keep it like this after the move.

Great idea! Wish I could help, but I was never there and have no pictures of the ride in my collection. Good luck with the project!
