Flying Eagles with out a doubt. How many other parks besides PKI lets you snap em? None what I can think of
I really i didnt know other parks dont let you snap them. That makes me appreciate them even more.
Hell ya the flying eagles all the way. I snap those lines and I had little kids in line scared and their parents told me not to do that cuz it scared them.
I love snapping those things!!

1. Flying Eagles- Really needs no explanation, but the ride is incredibly thrilling and fun for its size and deceiving looks. Long live the Snap!

2. Viking Fury- My favorite swinging ship I've been on and the setting and enthusiasm of the riders and crew really haven't been beaten. A major reride ride for me!

3. Tomb Raider: The Line- I've not been on the ride yet, but I've been through the queue and pre-shows 3 times already and it really is an outstanding walk-through dark attraction on its on and would still be high up even if I didn't like the ride itself.

As far as parks that let you snap the eagles, I think both Knoeble's and PGA let you from the reports I've heard.

What is this "snap" you speak of?

SFNE drops the "floor" on SFNE for 2002! Visit my new site, www.geocities.com/sfneguide for some great pics of SFNE and lots of other info.!!!

My favorite is TRTR, followed by the Eagles.

SFNE Freak, as described before on other "Flyers love threads", the snap is the sudden tension applied to the cables after the tub has lost momentum. Slack accumulates when the tub reaches the end of the outswing and inswing, as the ride gets ahead of the tub. The further you turn yourself sideways the quicker you will slow down (resulting in a temporary pause right before the cables tighten, causing a ride-shaking, thunderous CRACK that sends chills through every spectator's spine.). Timing is crucial, and PKI's usually have 2 outswings per ride revolution. Ride it a few times to practice, and find a rhythm that works for you. It's also good to watch some ACEers take flight! We're always taking new recruits. :) If you get to Knoebels, you'll experience a somewhat brutal version, since the seats are hardwood benches and the ride lasts several minutes.

Model coasters and rides
weres the eagles at at PKI? my main focus is normally on coasters there cause i can only make it there once a year, but this year, i wanna hit some flats.

If your really evil in this life, do you come back as toilet paper????
ladies and gentlemen, due to an increase in line jumping, people caught cutting in line will no longer be ejected from the park. u will be ejected from the ride

The Eagles are next to Vortex at the Coney Mall entrance. They're tucked in the corner and kinda easy to miss. You'll walk right by them if you enter Coney Mall from Rivertown.

All the world is born right-handed. Only the greatest can overcome it.

I tried to snap the Eagles/Do-Do Birds at Holiday World, but either the cables are shorter, too spaced out, or something supernatural because I just couldn't do it. I pride myself as a self-taught expert in the art of cable snapping at PKI (as I am at hand smacking at Cedar Point) but they just wouldn't work right at HW. I got good air, just no snap.

123 and hoping for 150 by end of 2oo2 and im only 13!!!

I love the eagles. I have one question, which is better, more weight or less?

Weight doesn't matter. The key is moving the steerer ( or whatever you wanna call it) back and forth fast. It doesn't matter how far you move it or the weight or anything else. It's also a lot easier to snap when it's not windy.
