Paramount's Kings Island unveils more of the year's most anticpated new attraction in this exciting update. Ten construction photos reveal more of the interior of this attraction, going down into the depths nearing the Antechamber. As guests zig zag through the twisting corridors of the excavation tunnel, they encounter an entrance into an ancient tomb.

See the props from the movie and the rich detail as this attraction comes together. Also, sample a clip of the music that will be heard as the door opens to the Antechamber.

This ride looks awesome! Will it be ready for opening day?

I wonder if the park will convert the queue into a haunted attraction for Fear Fest . . .
it's supposed to be ready for opening day and I doubt that they'll change it into a Fear Fest attraction. Yes, it will most deffinately be open for Fear Fest though!

It's his turn to feast, when you ride the Son of Beast.

I don't think that any changes will be required to make this fit in with a Fear Fest theme. Nice themeing!
Off topic ut still on general topic--Do you think that they might make any architectural changes to the inside where the ride will be? Like if it was a roller coaster(which it isn't), then they could make platforms on elevated parts of te building, for the track to rest on. Get it? It might give us hints to what it could be. An easier way to put it is the question, "Are there any distinguishing characteristics of the inside of the building to reveal what the ride is?"
No one knows anything about what's inside the big building except the people at PKI. And we won't know 100% until we ride it.

Maybe during the boarding part of the ride, a recorded voice will mock people in the queue and say, "I bet you thought this would be a top-spin," and then people will board something that first will lift them up toward the ceiling (the stalactites or icicles or whatever they are), then will begin to lower people in something resembling a mine shaft elevator down an artificial shaft, through some 'caverns' and then it'll go out of control and into a freefall, flipping people over to face a lake of boiling 'lava' and an animatronic boiling lava monster that looks like a dinosaur wading around. Although, probably not.
Has anyone ever considered the possibility that this ride may simply be a very elaborately-themed similator attraction . . . ?

Do you mean simulator? The park has put simulator on the short list of things it's not.
