PKI being sued over lightning strike

Yep. No suit (so far, knock on wood) with HW, no suit about Raging Bull, but now there's a suit filed against PKI over a lightning strike.

According to the story, a patron of the park was at his car when his car was struck by lightning on 6/12, suffering brain damage. The lawyer, Drake Ebner, claims that the park should have warned all park patrons of the coming electrical storm, especially when they might go to their cars, given that cars are "large metal objects that can attract lightning."

Oi.

I feel terrible for the guy and his family, but suing the park? Yeesh.

Way to go Drake.........lawyers, geez.

We are humans, not cattle, I am sure he could tell bad weather was coming. Oh wait, maybe his neck had a nerve pinched, and he couldn't look up at the sky. Maybe Drake can sue the victim's doctor for failing to refer him to a chiropractor to get his neck checked out. Drake can then include the local weatherman in the lawsuit for failing to instruct the victim not to park his car in that spot, and not to go to his car at that exact time, for a lightning bolt was about to hit!!! Maybe he can include Dr. Emmett Brown and Marty McFly in the suit.

I do feel bad for that guy though. Well, it was either that or the lottery.
