Got to the park Saturday morning for the walkback. Saw a couple of Buzzers/ACErs I knew and it was a pretty good-sized crowd. Once we got back to the Beast we were notified that there was some type of problem and they had just called an electrician.

Some folks left, and I decided to go straight to Action Zone.........where I should of went in the first place to meet up with my friends.

Ahhhh.........Drop Zone first thing. Sweet. Then again, then Delirium, then Delirium again.....:-D

At this point SOB and Face Off were not running, so we went to my 2 favorite coasters in the park.......Adventure Express and FOF.

Back to the Beast. A little rough but nice......but to be honest I was thinking about Thunderhead the entire time. Still can't beat that helix though. ;-)

About this time I was getting my DDR itch so I went to play about 4 rounds, then back to several more trips on Delirum and Drop Zone before heading out and meeting up with my friend.

Sunday morning I missed the walkback.....got there at exactly 10am, went straight to Action Zone and literally spent the first hour and a half on Drop Zone/Delirium.
Hee hee.....yes, I am THAT crazy about my Drop Zone. I have yet to get to PKD since they installed theirs but I plan to sometime this year. :-P

I hit the backwards Racer, Adventure Express a few times, FOF, and back to about an hour or so of DDR, going between the machine near the Beast to the one in the arcade next to FOF.

Went on Face off, and one more trip and Drop Zone and Delirium till I called it a day. I was exhausted and high as a kite from the adrenaline. I also had one headbangless ride on Vortex today. Weeee!

No crowds, cool weather, and all the DDR, Drop Zone, and Delirium I could handle with zero crowds and immediate walk ons.......I was a happy camper. :-D

I did notice part of Boomerang Bay while driving in.........gotta love those funnels! I can't wait. Tazmanian Typhoon looks insane!

Seems like there were a lot of things repainted......Racer as well as Racer's trains? A lot of the bathrooms were repainted, and there were new *warning* signs at the Beast's loading station.
Didn't see any paw prints.

Awesome weekend! The 3 1/2 hour drive home didn't seem so long as before, but now I think it's all catching up with me......(yawn).

Thanks for the TR Tina.

Sorry we missed you. Sunday was a great day at the park. I talked with quite a few enthusiasts that day that also had a great time. Instead of doing my own TR, I guess I will just piggyback on yours with some general notes. I hope you don't mind. =:^)

I think we did 3 full laps around the park before leaving around 5:30pm. As I type this, I am really sore from really getting into all the Flying Eagle rides we took. The crew was great and really got us into the mood. Thanks guys, and gal.

I thought The Beast was running great in the afternoon. The added soundtrack sounds great. I thought it was cool the music gets louder as the train goes higher.

As you noticed, the park was so dead that there were no lines anywhere. Drop Zone rarely had half of it's seats occupied. Speaking of, the new (to PKI anyway) seats look and feel good. Who would have ever guessed they were once used on Volcano?

I pretty much rode everything that was open or what I wanted to get on. I didn't ride Son of Beast as it's no longer my cup of tea so I took a couple more spins on Drop Zone while I waited for friends to ride.

Tomb Raider does have a different ending now, but I am not sure if this is final. To be honest, it's not totally different than the previous ending, but can be looked at as an improvement, depending on your point of view and what you can handle.

I rode Beast probably 5 times on Sunday, most of them in the front. The new seatbelts will take a while to get used to, but I am not complainnig. Sad to say though there were a couple of people that I heard complaning about them this morning. Big deal. They are only seatbelts. Get over it. It's not the end of the world

Sorry for the mini-rant.

I didn't play any DDR. After so many flyer rides, playing DDR might not have been that great of an idea. Chris Clark came up with a new 'phrase' or sorts to describe the point in which flying ends up taking it's toll on us.

To Pooped To Pop or TPTP. =:^)

I had a fantastic time yesterday and look forward to another visit, possibly next Sunday.

I didn't make it back to the flyers, but I probably just missed you. lol. All the arcades were dead as well. I must of DDR'd myself to death. lol.

You know what? I do not remember being aware of the soundtrack on the Beast, but I rode it Saturday and not Sunday. I just wonder if it wasn't on Sat or I just didn't pay attention?

I noticed the seat belts on Beast (and Racer or where they already there....never paid much attention before) but that didn't bother me in the least. People are always complaining about something. :-)

I had no idea those Drop Zone seats were new (to the ride). They were used on Volcano as in the Blast Coaster? Details are oblivious to me sometimes, although I thought the locks on the seat belts seemed different...who would of guessed? lol.

The seats are new and made to fade alot less on drop zone. Don't think they are used.

Hi.....whats your name again?

Perhaps I stand corrected about the Drop Zone seats. I was told from more than one person that they were formerly found on Volcano: The Blast coaster as the old Drop Zone seats were indeed fading and showing a lot of wear and tear.

Whatever the case may be, they are nice and feel a bit different.
