PKI 2002 big posibilty!

Well, I was just talking with a good buddy of mine, and this could be a big posibilty:

Imagine this being a TA2K. Remember, we may be way off, but this is just an idea of ours. The first half of the ride, our car travels around 5 -10 mph using air power. We go through scenes with fire/water/whatever effects, which are really huge and mindblowing. This section also features MANY MANY blocks which allows many trains on the track at one time. At the end, things get a little wild, the "escape" section. For those that have seen the movie, imgagine a huge, cheek pinning launch. Who knows? Anywhere from 80 to 100 mph. The coaster then goes through several bobsled style turns that look just like the stuff that Laura travels through at the end with the dogs. remember? Those really low, overbanked turns, much like the one on that TA2K in japan. We then hit a vertical ascent/vertical drop hill to escape, and back to the station.

Is it just me, or does this make a lot of sense?

That makes more than enough sense ravenguy and it would be *the* perfect ride. But Jeff did say in the news that it wasn't a coaster. I'm thinking an extreme jeep adventure like Indiana Jones or Dinosaur that could make a vertical drop or be launched. He also said it wouldn't be a regular Top Spin ride. I can't believe that the speculation before only led to even more speculation after the announcement!
PKI could be making this not sound like a coaster, but it turns out to be a coaster. You never know

Jennifer Bowers said it was not a coaster, nor was it anything like it. I do think that's a great idea, though.

Judging by the harnasses, we know that this ride MORE THAN LIKELY has inversions. Take a look at this closeup:

Any thoughts?

Ravenguy, I had the same vision. To quote myself from this afternoon...

"Yeah, remember they did say that they are not going to reveal all of the surprises yet. Imagie being in a coaster car, inside a building, going slowly through the scenery, and theming, then boom you must escape! A door flys open and you are launched through it into who know what kind of intense coaster experience. It's not unheard of. Thats how Test Track at Epcot is."
My homepark has both a Mondial Top Scan and Splashover, and that harness/gondola in the picture actually looks like a cross between both of them.
*well deserved bump*

Jeff already said it isn't any kind of souped up flat ride. It's not a top scan or a splashover.
ravenguy:
I've noticed alot of postings from you lately.
I hope you're not spending more time analyzing this ride than screaming your head off like a moron.

I'm sure you don't want your sausage kicked...
god do you belive everything that people tell you. Jeff you can believe but Bowers may be just makin stuff up. she works for the park and they dont want any news about the new ride getting out so i doubt they are gonna tell you the real facts if its a coaster or not. im still leaning towards a coaster then a jeep ride or flat ride
I'd just like to point out that they're planning for the ride to be more or less still secret until people ride it, therefore a TA2k would be unlikely, unless they're gonna make it small enough for a 80' building...
It Kinda looks like a car from Oblivion with the many seats across.
