PKI 2002 - NOT TOMB RAIDER

Just creating some EXCITEMENT.

Many of you are pretty knowledgeable with park happenings / inside stuff, this should be pretty easy for you.

Try not to only think about the REMOVAL, but also the replacement ATTRACTION.

 Hey well, I think it might be, if it's a ride, they'll take out Troikia or somethin' like that and replace that with somethin', or if it's a coaster they are taking out, they'll probably take out King Cobra (but I highly doubt it), or maybe one of the very old ones. Please at least one more hint! ;)

The removed ride is definitely and without surprise, King Cobra. I'd love to stir up more spectulation, but its really too obvious. I learned this evening as well as several others did today that this will become fact soon. King Cobra will still live though... and AFAIK at another "Paramount" park. Stay tuned for the season. I won't give away any more surprises. The whole anniversary package will be a treat though.

I did want to add that, besides KC, I don't think any other coasters at PKI have enough mechanical problems or low ridership to be removed in the next decade. And Shake, Rattle, and Roll is indeed live and well as it is on the training list for ride ops with The Beast and the flyers.

Don't be too sure about early rumors. Think about all items "Old" which could be removed to make way for "New" ATTRACTIONS.

Think of possibilities for the new ATTRACTION!

"Koaster King" is VERY CORRECT ABOUT how PKI 30th Anniversary will be very good. Remember it is filled with FUN, EXCITEMENT, AND MEMORABLE EXPERIENCES.

If King Kobra does go, I hope that a new coaster comes:)

well in most circles attraction means an upcharge, so maybe they'll replace the skycoaster or days of thunder with an S&S thrillshot...

Well ceo@cinci.rr, I could be wrong as I do believe I heard KC will survive through the 2002 season. So, you could be speaking of another ride that I didn't catch wind of yet. Hmm. Sounds interesting. I have a feeling PKI will really go after the cheese with the replacement. But that's just my guess at this point. ;)

Not to mention, Phantom Theatre could get a brand new family dark ride friend in the near future. Anyone for Scooby Snacks?
