PKI - July 5th

Associated parks:
None

Well I was at the park that whole weekend with friends, anxious to ride FOF. WOW what a difference from last year. Those lap bars are awesome, making it a heck of a ride as Jeff stated. I wished the line was shorter then it was (around 1-1.5 hours) but after riding it I'd wait again. The trim brakes were open in the middle of the ride making the last half intense, smooth and just sweet. Man I can go on and on about this ride. Just make sure you ride it. The two others with me had never been on it before, and afterwords nothing but praises from them. SOB was its normal self nice drop little rough in the helixes. Beast still a classic kick butt coaster. Didn't even bother with Vortex. Top gun an excellent arrow suspended, what amazes me is how those things are smooth when the side and upstop wheels hardly touch the track. Although I guess it doesn't matter as much when your below the track. Oh well. Racer was great backwords, nice airtime. A great visit there.

Vekoma SLCs are under the track and some of them are the as rough as the old Outer Limits.

My guess is that because the pod can move independant of the wheel assembly, little of the banging is actually transmitted to the riders.
just a guess.
