PKD Physics Build-a-Coaster Competition

I've been volunteered among 3 others to build a roller coaster for a Physics Competition at Kings Dominion.

The ride will start with a marble (the train) at the top and roll its way down the ride. Marketing people, I know an ACE member and others will be grading the coaster for rideability, themeing, and such. Loops will provide more points.

Since I know there are some people on here that build models and such, I'm looking for tips. Such as what material are good to make the track and such. I'm considering trying to put a cobra roll into the track since that'll really impress the judges.

My group is considering themeing it to Mission Impossible movies since the movies is the latest marketing strategy at Paramount parks. Or possibly doing a "King Kobra 2" in memory of the former ride that stood at Anaconda's current spot.

If anyone has any suggestion or tips, feel free to speak away. They are all appreciated.

Simple, K'nex!
You'd really be in luck if you could use CoasterDynamix which isn't coming out until Spring though.
