PKD and BGW info needed

Im going DOWN TOWN to PKD on April 9th and BGW on the 10th. Cheap tickets for both parks, best discounts? I thought I read something about cheap tickets at Giant Food Store? Also im looking for a good motel in walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg and not to far of a drive to BGW. Also are any major attractions sapposed to be down at both parks? Why do I have a felling Hypersonic is going to open late this year. Anyone who can help me out thank you in advance. Matt

Blockbuster movie stores has PKD tickets for $29.95, or you can order then of the PKD website for a discout I think. I have not heard anything about any rides being closed but I will find out tomorrow when I'm there.

I haven't seen anything at Giant. If your looking for a good motel in walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg, you may want to look at one of the resort hotels.

I have stayed at the Woodlands and found it reasonably nice and you can use the Colonial Williamsburg transportation system to get around (and no, they aren't horse and buggy or drive by Thomas Jefferson).

When I go to Williamsburg, I usually stay at the Days Inn Busch Gardens which is like a mile to Bush Gardens. I get rates for $69 for opening weekend (March 27th).

I stay at the Travel lodge down there but the Best Western Patrick Henry in is right across the street from Colonial Williamsburg and about 3 Mile drive down to the park on the same road. Its pretty nice and decently priced. As for PKD I made a day drive up there last OCT to go so all I know is there is a Best Western in the parking lot of the park almost. If you are an ACE member, you can show your card at PKD for half admission I do believe this year.

N-troble is correct, I just called and confirmed with my local Blockbuster that they do sell tickets to PKD for $29.99. Compare that to the regular gate price of $43.99, and the online purchase price of $34.99.
