PKD and BGW help

I am visiting PKD next Wednesday (6/25) and BGW that Thursday (6/26) and it is my first time for both. Just wondering if anyone has any tips for either of the parks. Thanks so much.

For BGW get there early then when the gates open take the train to Alpengeist. It opened early when I was there. Most areas are blocked off. Another way to get to Alpengeist is to go through Ireland. I got about five rides in before there were any lines.

Yes, for Kings Dominion, ride everything you can get your hands on. HyperSonic, Volcano and Fligh Of Fear are must. Also the line for HyperSonic may look to appear to be long, because its out into the midway, but don't worry, after every train launches, they let 8 people into the line entrance, and it takes you right into the station. The wait at the most is 45 minutes. Volcano would be 1 and 30 at the most. Have Fun. Too bad you can't go Thursday, I might be there.
Spent a week there last year during the 4th of July (4th was my last day at the park)! Went to BG for most of the week at all times of the day. Had mid-week and weekend visits and went on the 4th! Never waited more than 1/2 hour for anything at BG! Maybe travel was down due to world events though! At night, Alpengeist was 2-3 train wait with 3 train operation. In the am you could ride time and time again! Lock Ness is 10-20 minutes. Chariott and Wolf were the longest lines--but very reasonabe. At that time they never ran more than 2 trains for Chariott! Had they used 3 trains, this would have been a 2-3 train wait like Alpengeist! All of the steel (all they have) are very good here! I like it as much if not more than CP's collection! This was a wonderful park and a wonderful trip! Cleanest and nicest theme park out there (theme park is the operative word) in my honest opinion! It is begging for a mid-size woodie though!

Drove to KD on two seperate midweek days! Go early to Volcano and knock this out. XLC is just like the guy above stated. FOF is another you want to knock out before the line gets too long. The woodies did not have much of a line at all! Don't waste early am time at those as you can get on them w/o too much hassle later. Anaconda and The Togo stand-up (forgot the name this moment---Shockwave??) were 15-25 minutes mid-day. In general the lines were much longer here than at BG! Strictly a ride park, without too much theming detail! Lot of fun coasters though!

P.S. I am a thrill seeker who rarely, if ever goes to shows! BG has this night circus type show over in the France section! This gets very crowded, for good reason! Get there no less than 45 minutes early to get a seat! It IS worth it! Even if you hate shows!

Remember, that maybe I'm way off as last year could have been some freak attendance numbers due to world events! However, we had a great time at what I assumed would be very crowded days! It was muggy as all be though---that could have kept crowds down!

If you're gonna be there mid-week, that's good. Never been to BGW, but on my trip to PKD last year on a monday, it was fairly nice, not too busy. First I rode Volcano(hypersonic was closed, so I'd say do it first). I got back row. Next was FoF, and since it's in an A/C inside que and all, its not a bad wait, about 20 for the front. All other coasters were pretty much walkons, and after it starts getting late, FoF and Volcano are down to about 20 or less. Have fun!
