The Post-Gazette has produced a well-written article about the construction of Kennywood's Phantom's Revenge, which opened last weekend.
Take me to the story!

The lengths that people will go to build a roller coaster. I hope everyone appreciates the hard work that goes into putting up one of these structures, especially on the east coast. While you were indoors during the winter surfing Coasterbuzz there were multiple construction crews freezing their butts off to build us our new thrill rides.

It's not as if they were doing it out of the good of their hearts now. Construction is their job and those guys are thankful for the work.

amen fierce pancake. we choose what we do for a living and they chose that line of work for the love of it as well as the money, not to make enthusiasts happy

So are you saying that people can't be appreciated for their work even though they're getting paid for it? I personally love it when I get recognized for the work that I do, even though it's in my job description.
