PI's King Cobra might have a new home

I just checked ITAL Int. website where PKI's King Cobra was on sale and the there is no sign of the add. I hope that it is given a new home where I can go ride it, but I'm not sure. Last thhing I read about it was the track was in PKI's warehouse and the trains were in Flight of Fear's building. I was just wondering if anybody knows if it has been purchased and being relocated or what is happening to it?

Well, back in June KC was just chilling in a big pile back behind the park. It didn't look too good.

By "warehouse" do you mean "Giant vacant lot"? Actually it is being moved around the back of the park. Now most of the track resides by where the fireworks are shot.

... or PKI just gave up.

I recall another thread not too long ago (month or so) where it was *strongly suggested* that PKI had in effect given up on selling KC...I do believe that the person who suggested it might have had a touch of insider info...;)

Maybe they could sell it to Camden Park. Then it could once again take the place of the Arrow shuttle loop. Just kiddding I don't want to see it rot too.

People said the same thing when Drachen Fire disappeared from ITAL. Don't get your hopes up.

I think the BEST we can hope for is that Paramount has decided to use the spare parts to keep Skyrider up and running.

On a side note, that's probably the best possible fate for PKD's Sh**wave....;)

Along with the Carolina Stearnwheeler and Hercules...

Maybe the park needs the space where the track resideds so they may take down their second oldest steel coaster and replace it with another woodie. And the award for "Park with the most wood coasters" goes to PKI with 5 (6 with Racer as two).

I think I read online somewhere that PKi was going to be sued by some one who said they were in violation of something by not having it running anymore. Then they would claim it and put it up in another park. but I cant find where that is now. That sounds fishy andf maybe you cant believe everytuhing on the internet, but hopefully domeone will get it so we can ride it!!! It looked fiun and I never got on it!

That was the CPO(formerly Club). There a bunch of kids. Unless they got there money......I wouldn't get your hopes up.
