Pinfari offering "tilt" coaster as well

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

With all of the buzz surrounding Giovanola's tilt model coaster, it's no surprise that another manufacturer is also offering a similar product.

Check out Pinfari's version on their Web site.

If i remember correctly, this one has been out for a while. I think it uses a elevator to turn the track up or somthing like that

I saw that Vekoma also has a tilter called Cliffhanger. Their website has a nice animation of it too.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
Interesting to see if ANY of these ever make it into a park.

Have you ever gotten the feeling that you've been here before? Six Flags Magic Mountain 2001...
The Vekoma version is in testing so it shouldn't be too long before it's released!?
Pinfari's had this since about '98.
I'm surprised nobody has commented on following things:
1. It appears that unlike Giovanola's tilt model, Pinfari's tilt coaster does not have a LIFT hill; riders load the train in the staion, and the station portion of track is lifted up, then tilted. (Zero-G kind of touched on this one)
2. Giovanola's tilt model is the only one which goes PAST the 90 degree vertical point
