Pics of the SFNE construction site.

Does anyone have any pics of the area fenced off for the construction of SFNE's new coaster.
I don't think that there would be construction this soon. Construction usually starts in October. Six Flags hasn't made a official announcement. Why would they start construction when they haven't made an announcement?

Just wait. It's only a couple of weeks until construction starts.

No I'm just talking about the fenced off area.
I want to see how big the area is.

SFGAdv. started construction on Nitro before it was announced.

We're not White, Black, Hispanic, or Asian. We're American!
Remember, NITRO was a lot bigger than the B&M going to SFNE.  NITRO is 5394ft long while the SFNE B&M is approx 2600ft.  I think site preparation has begun, but I wouldn't expect anything big until December or January.

The area seems quite small. The area was fenced off for quite a while, when I was there in July it was fenced off. Looks as if they might have to move some of the entrances to the ferris wheel, and maybe move double trouble. There was something marked off in cones when I was there in August. Hopefully something will come up soon.
Lots of coasters start construction before announcements are made.  It happens all the time...especially with SF parks.

When I went in Augest they didn't let anybody there. I heard track parts are arriving in November. Constuction definiatly didn't start yet. I wonder what kind of coaster it will be? Floorless or Standup?

Mike is right about vertical construction not taking place for awhile.  Ground preparation needs to be done early, I assume before the ground freezes.  Once the footers have been poured, decent-sized B&M coasters have been known to be ready for testing in 5 to 6 weeks from the time when the structure started to rise!

There were rumors that SFNE would announce the coaster today (October 1) but I haven't heard anything about it yet.  Construction is rumored to start fairly soon so we should have some interesting pics as soon as something happens.
