Try plugging in "Six Flags America" and the drop box on "Sites" in the handy search box at right.

Why don't people ever look before they ask? It would save time and reduce noise.

Jeff, why does it bother you so much that someone would ask for help? Why not be a gracious host?
It's something to do with the bandwidth and costing him money.

Hasn't this question been asked before?

I UNDERSTAND that! But my point is - he had to answer the guy anyway, so why not just do it nicely. Who wants to come to a website if the host of that site isn't nice to people? There ARE, believe it or not, some people who are very new to the internet and aren't exactly up on all the protocol.

Jeff, I mean no disrespect, believe me. It's just that I have been to so many different websites and communities, and everywhere I go, I see mods and managers copping attitudes. It really isn't necessary. We are all people and we all have feelings, and there are many different situations we are in that may cause us to ask "stupid" questions sometimes. But they aren't stupid to us.

I'm not "copping an attitude." My problem is that everyone wants someone else to do things for them, when the tools to do it themselves are readily available. While it can be a pain to find things on the Internet in general, we go out of our way to make things easy to find in this little controlled space of the Internet. Don't read into it... I didn't say anyone asked a stupid question. My only request is that people look before they ask, and if they can't find what they're looking for, ask.

It's a larger cultural thing for me. Here we have the greatest means ever devised to share and exchange information, yet people still want someone else to do the work for them.
