Sad to say it was replaced by a Boomerang. Darn you Vekoma. I would much rather have a family coaster then a boomerang.

The EXT was replaced by the Timber Wolf. And The Zambezi Zinger was replaced by Boomerang.

That's not roughness that intensity

Did anyone here ride it when it had the stand-up trains? I bet it was really rough, as it was designed for standard sit down trains, not ones that put your head a mile away from the track.

I wonder what reaction's you'd get if you put stand up trains on Corkscrew and Oriental Express;)

Sawblade, Thanks for correcting SOB's statement. I wasn't too sad to see EXT replaced by TWolf. However it should be a crime to replace a Schwarzkopf classic with a Vekoma cookie cutter.

TrBiggar, I rode it. Imagine riding a standard Arrow corkscrew standing up, that's what it felt like, it was kind of fun, but not too Woo Hoo.

Vertigo, it's ORIENT Express (not Oriental), and they already refitted one corkscrew with standups (the EXT), that's what the entire thread is about.

FYI, this was the first standup in the United States, followed by Rail Blazer at SFStL (funny how cross state rival parks work). King Kobra came in third a year later.
