Photos show progress on Marine World's Vertical Velocity

Construction of Six Flags Marine World's V2: Vertical Velocity is coming along well and the footers are just about ready to have supports attached. A small building has been constructed and a small wall near the future entrance to the ride has been erected.

This site didn't work for me. When I hit the link it displayed the html code instead of a completed webpage.
Same here. The link is bad.

I got the html code when I tried to view it with Netscape, but it works fine with Internet Explorer.
Looks like a netscape problem. I tried it in IE 5.5, and it worked ok. But in Netscape 4.76, it showed the HTML code.

Now, back to the photos! :-)

Not much really to see, except that the footers are about done. Hopefully, vertical construction will happen soon.

By the way, SFGAm's version went vertical over the weekend. For some pics, check out Rob's page at http://sfga.webjump.com/

I think that the problem with Netscape and this site is that it was created with a Microsoft product.
Lets please stay on the topic...

There really is nothing new. Just footers, no track. Hope it takes shape soon.

WOW! It's just like "Speed 2", only it's a bus instead of a boat!
Problems in Netscape? Ut oh! I'm not even sure what I'd do to make it better... :(

Actually, I spotted some track across the street from Marine World just inside the gate of the county Fairgrounds. There's about 10 pieces of golden yellow box track and two large supports that seem to be the spike supports. I would have gotten some pictures, but the film in my Joycam had gone bad ;P
does anyone have any educated guesses as to what that small wall is going to be for?
probably a staion wall or something of that sort
